Welcome to Spirited Worship at Aurora First Presbyterian Church!

At AFPC we believe worship is the single most important thing we do as Christians. One of our confessions tells us that we were created to glorify God and to enjoy God forever.

Only a worship service that is grounded in God and is a spirited response to what God has done in Jesus Christ is worthy of what we characteristically call "Worship."

From the songs we sing, to the prayers we pray, to the Word we proclaim and hear, to the sacraments we celebrate and receive, let them all be infused with the Spirit of Life.

 

 

 

Our schedule every Sunday morning is:

9:00 a.m. Christian Education Hour for all ages.

10:30 a.m. Worship Service

10:30 a.m. Spanish Worship Service Room 208

During the summer from Memorial day to Labor day we are on our sabbath time of year: During this time services are held at 9:30am Please come and join us!

Whether our worship borrows from Anglo culture or African culture or Latino culture, be assured it will always be Christ centered. The God whom Jesus called "Father" is the one we worship in Spirit and in truth.
