Rev. Joe Mares, Pastor
Pastor Joe ministered in Nevada and in Northern California before coming to Colorado. Joe says that before accepting the call to Aurora, and leaving California, he consulted with God and the Farmers Almanac. God said to go for it and the Farmers Almanac predicted a warm winter for Colorado. With those two affirmations, Pastor Joe accepted the call and moved to Aurora in August of 2007. On November 25th, he was installed as Pastor in an exciting and spiritually uplifitng worship service.

Rev. Dr. W. Les Avery is our Parish Associate. Les and his wife, JoAnne, have a ministry that involves their dog "Smitty" to Namaste Hospice patients. Ask Les to show you his brag book the next time you see him. |
 |
Dr. Leonard Martin is our Choir Director. Dr. Martin also is a faculty member on the Teacher Education Program at Denver University. The Choir has grown under Dr. Martin's leadership but always has room for one more. Next time you see Leonard, ask him for some brownies and be prepared for what happens next!
